Kevin and I along with 10 other crazy people completed the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay Race. 12 people on a team run 3 seperate legs of 188 miles from Logan to Park City. Sounds insane doesn't it? Well let me tell you it was the hardest, dumbest, and most brutal thing I have ever done. Will I do it again? Absolutely!
Kevin's first leg was 3.5 miles running along Pineview Dam. Mine was a 3.8 mile steep climb up Snow Basin.
Kevin's second leg was a long dark stretch of 7.7 miles through Wanship. Mine was a gorgeous 7.3 mile view of Rockport Dam in the early morning.
Our third and final leg Yahoo! Kevin ran what is consider one of the hardest legs. It is a 4 mile straight climb up the mountain. It was brutal and he did awesome. What a trooper!
Mine was 7.3 miles descending down the back side of that mountain dropping into Park City. Not only was it a steep descent ( with a few added uphill climbs for fun) , it was pouring rain. The tempature was freezing, the rain was pouring, the wind was howling, and it was lightning as well. I don't think I have ever been that cold in my life. It was so hard but despite all that was against me I made it!
THE FINISH! Team #408 Are We There Yet?
Our entire team did an awesome job. Although I went 41 hours without sleep, endured many miles of running and battled a rough storm, I had so much fun. We had a great team and all should be proud of what we accomplished. Great job everyone!

WOW.......you guys rock!!! I could never do that. My sisters did the one down in So. Cal from Santa Barbara to Laguna Beach, I think. They loved it. It takes a certain "type" to do crazy things like the Ragnar!!!!!
You are awesome Jame!! I can't wait to hear about it.
YOu are so insane. No wonder every body loves you.
You are so amazing! I love the fact that you are always getting other people involved in the things that you love. What a great team you guys all made. Good for you!!
My sisters and mom and I just signed up to do the Wasatch Back next year. After reading your awesome post on the race I am a little terrified, I am glad I have a year to get ready! :)
