Christmas 09

Another wonderful year has passed. We were again blessed in many ways throughout the year. Thanks to all our friends and families who love and care for us unconditionally. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and may the new year bring you nothing but happiness.

I love my family. No matter what happens I know that we will always have one another. Time has changed us all in different ways but the bottom line remains the same... FAMILY!

Jayden turns 6

Our little girl is not so little anymore and is working her way up the age ladder. Jayden turned 6 on December 1. It is crazy to think that she has been a part of our family for that long. She is so much fun to have as a daughter. Her personality is definitely one of a kind. We love her so much! For her birthday she wanted to take a few friends to Classic Fun Center. She had quite the list of friends to take but for sanity reasons we had to limit it to only three. I know I am a mean mom :) They all had so much fun riding scooters and playing on the bouncy toys. Afterwards, we came back home for ice cream cones. All in all Jayden had a great birthday and I am so glad that she has so many wonderful friends in her life.

Halloween

We had a super fun Halloween. Lots of parties, candy, and costumes. I love how excited the kids get for this holiday. Kevin too!

I wonder......

More often than not, I find myself wondering why the Lord allows me to be a mom. I lack so many skills it takes to be a good mother. I try to be a good mom but I fall short in so many areas. I love my kids with all of my heart but wonder if I will ever measure up. I look at these two angels and I wonder how I got so lucky?

Gavin is 3

My little Gavin turned three on September 25. He has developed quite the personality lately. I had high hopes for him to be my mellow child and up until about three months ago, I thought this was the case. Unfortunately, he has turned on me.
