I drug all my sisters and my mom to the Morgan 5k. It was so fun to be able to do a race together.

Camping

After a long winter we were finally able to take our new trailer out and go camping. We went up to Wasatch State Park. It was great weather and we had a nice weekend camping as a family. Saturday morning I ran a 10K by Bridal Veil Falls. It was absolutely gorgeous. I recommend that trail for any hiker, biker, runner, or walker. The rest of the day we rode bikes, played in the dirt, relaxed, and sat by the fire. It was a great weekend.

Iron Girl Triathlon

I finished my third triathlon Saturday down in Vegas. It was a harder course but I was able to beat my two previous times so I was happy about that. Thanks to all my cheerleaders out there on the course cheering me on. It was a fabulous weekend and the weather was perfect!

Congrats to my amazing sister who has lost over 40 lbs and trained so hard to do something she never thought possible.

Thanks to my husband who always makes me feel like a winner!

A big shout out to my friend Kim who got me started with these crazy races. She is a great friend who trains with me and pushes me to try harder. She did awesome!

All done. I can breathe now!

Reunite, Run, Recuperate

Friday afternoon I headed down south to Cedar City. I was able to reunite after 12 years with two of my roommates from college. It was great to be able to hang out once again. It was like we had never left. Saturday morning we ran a 10k race at Zion National park. It was a gorgeous run and we had a great time running it together. We even got a medal. After the race Trinity and I went to Las Vegas to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and do a little shopping. Sunday morning I left and went home and now I am recuperating with really sore legs! I had a great weekend with my friends and was happy to have a break from the " mom " role.

Easter

Happy Easter!

We'll take what we can get!

Mother nature has been giving us a hit and miss spring, so we take whatever little good weather we can get. Today we decided to get out and feed the ducks and play at the park.

This is the life!

Kevin and I, along with some family and friends went on a carribean cruise. We visited the islands of Grand Cayman,Roatan,Belize, and Cozumel. All of the island were beautiful and I would have stayed there except I really missed my kids. For all those who know me well know that I am a warm weather girl so to me, this is the life.


Cruising around on scooters in Roatan, Hondurus. We had a blast and the island was gorgeous!

We went cave exploring in Belize. We climbed, repelled, and flew across the jungle on a zip line. It was so much fun.



Cozumel was a beach day. So we swam, snorkeled, and lounged by the crystal blue waters.


Formal nights ( it is always fun to step out of the " mom " scene once in awhile )



Now we are back in the freezing cold and not liking it one little bit. But I am happy to be with my kids again.
